The importance of perseverance, self belief and never giving up has never been more relevant than it is in today’s world. These themes and more are at the forefront of As December Falls new single ‘Keep Dreaming…’, which is out now.
In a time where it is finally becoming more acceptable for people to discuss their issues, fears, and anxieties, ‘Keep Dreaming…’ carries a message of hope, believing in yourself and that your life has meaning. Even if it doesn’t happen overnight and you have to work hard for it, if you believe in yourself you can achieve anything.
‘Keep Dreaming…’ introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Nottingham based four piece, who have gone from strength to strength since forming in 2014. You can grab the track, plus B-Side ‘…You’re Giving Up’ now here.
Want to know more about Keep Dreaming…? Hear it straight from As December Falls vocalist Bethany herself: “We’re really excited to release ‘Keep Dreaming…’ and b-side ‘…You’re Giving Up’. The songs explore the themes of motivation and perseverance; the fire that you have inside, pushing you to reach for your dreams when everything around you seems to be falling to pieces.”
Make sure you experience As December Falls live and loud at Macmillan Fest which is taking place on the 2nd of September at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham. As December Falls came crashing on to the scene late 2014. Instantly booked for Macmillan Festival and Tramlines Festival they also got support slots with the likes of Fearless Vampire Killers, Alvarez Kings, and William Beckett of The Academy Is. The release of their single ‘Capture’ soon grabbed the attention of Scuzz TV, and was named as one of the “Best of the Underground 2015.”
The band soon gained momentum with the support of thousands of world-wide fans, which saw them hit the target to crowd fund their debut EP in under 48 hours. This enabled As December Falls to release their debut EP ‘When You Figure Out You’re Wrong, Get Back To Me’. Lead single ‘Don’t Say A Word’ was named Q Magazine’s track of the day, as well as being added to Alternative Press’s New Music Playlist and receiving radio plays on Kerrang! , Planet Rock and Awesome Radio.
Building on this, As December Falls released single ‘More To You’ and played shows up and down the country, including a sold out show at the 450 capacity Nottingham Rescue Rooms. The band have just played Hampshire’s Lowde Fest, supporting ABC and are playing Macmillan Festival supporting Room 94 before taking a break to record their debut album.
