Belfast’s Andy White Releases New Video For ‘Very Fine People’

Belfast singer-songwriter Andy White is writing about politics again with new record The Guilty & The Innocent (out on limited edition vinyl from November 24th & CD from January 26th). Agree with it or not, it’s a powerful piece of work. Songs about Trump, Jeremy, Grenfell, Manchester, refugees, Belfast. Trump again. The unheard. There’s even a language warning.

Now Andy White has just released a new video for track Very Fine People taken from new album The Guilty & The Innocent.

Andy White is a 21st Century Troubadour. From the “electrifying urgency” (FRoots) of first single ‘Religious Persuasion’ in the 1980’s to his latest LP ‘The Guilty & The Innocent’.
Championed by The Whistle Test and Janice Long as he started playing shows in the UK; Andy he was signed by London Records who released Rave On Andy White in October 1986. Melody Maker pronounced “Yer Man’s Brilliant!”, Andy opened for Van Morrison on tour, and then Billy Bragg, with whom he shared legendary UK manager Peter Jenner.
In concert, Andy’s a vital and engaging performer; with the ability to document the world and its current chaos and beauty with remarkable insight; his rare appearances in the UK are not to be missed!
Collaborating with the likes of Tim Finn and Liam O Maonlai (as ALT), writing with Peter Gabriel, recording with Sinead O’Connor; Andy has had a stellar career in music while still keeping a firm grip on his “have guitar, will travel” folksinger ethos. ‘The Guilty & The Innocent’ is available through Proper, along with latest CD release ‘Imaginary Lovers’.
