BONGCAULDRON ‘TYKE’ Out Now

With no fuss, no advance warning, and no forward press – APF Records dropped Yorkshire sludge monoliths BONGCAULDRON’s new EP – entitled “Tyke” – at midnight BST on 12th October.

Just under a year after the Leeds trio released their full-length debut album “Binge” on APF Records, “Tyke” features three new cuts which encompass where the band are right now: from the elephantine Weedeater-esque riffing of “Pisshead On The Moon”, via the Iron Monkey thrash punk of “Back Up Bog Roll”, to closing thunderous beast “Jezus Throat Horns”. The tracks merge into one another to create a 14-minute-long titan of a record.

Hot on the heels of their recent support to Eyehategod in Bristol and main stage show-stopping performance at this year’s HRH Doom Vs Stoner festival, BongCauldron will be playing a select number of gigs in support of “Tyke” – the Damnation Festival pre-show in Leeds on 2nd November, Cvlfest in Scunthorpe on 10th November, and the APF Records Showcase in Manchester on 2nd February 2019.
