Chasing Dragons Celebrate The Release Of Debut Album ‘Faction’

Two years of hard work, several months of build up since the initial album announcement, one very successful Kickstarter campaign and two very successful singles have led Chasing Dragons to this point – their debut album Faction has finally been released! With an excellent reception from fans, their peers and the rock and metal press alike, Faction is an album set to take Chasing Dragons to the next level.

Buoyed by the aforementioned success of the album’s two singles, Parasite and Like Gravity, Faction is an alt-metal meets hard rock roller-coaster that takes you along for the ride and doesn’t release it’s grip until the final notes have faded away.

If you’ve not yet had the pleasure of either Parasite or Like Gravity, both can be checked out below:

Faction includes nine brand new songs (including the hit single Like Gravity) along with re-recorded versions of the three tracks from the Faction: Prologue EP (Whitehorse, Devil In Her Eyes and Bareknuckle Lover). The artwork for Faction was created by none other than the band’s own frontwoman Tank, putting her skills as an accomplished tattoo artist to good use in a brand new way.

Both the tracklist and the artwork can be seen below:

1. Factionless
2. How The World Went Black
3. Parasite
4. Like Gravity
5. Bareknuckle Lover
6. For Kingdom For Glory
7. This Time Is Ours
8. Devil In Her Eyes
9. The Connection
10. I’m No Devil (I’m Just A Girl)
11. Whitehorse
12. We Are The Wall

Chasing Dragons will soon hit the road on a substantial run of shows in support of their new album. Kicking off on the 2nd of November in Manchester, the Faction tour will see Chasing Dragons play seven dates across the length of England, including an appearance at the Croydon Rocks festival on the 3rd and concluding with a show at Mama Liz’s in Stamford on the 9th. Liverpool natives Novacrow will join Chasing Dragons as main support on four of the dates, while a selection of other bands including Ward XVI, Alter The Sky and Soul Desire can be found on other shows. The full rundown of the tour is as follows:
