Corrosion Of Conformity are stoked to announce that they‘ll be hitting the road this October/November on an eight date, co-headline UK run with celebrated London based Sabbath worshippers Orange Goblin. Completing a line-up overflowing with blues inspired, whiskey soaked riffs will be LA retro rock band Fireball Ministry and Leeds/London based stoner rockers Black Moth.
C.O.C. commented, “We are beyond excited to have the stars align in such a way that, with a new record out, we get to play UK dates with Orange Goblin, Fireball Ministry and Black Moth. This one is going to be memorable!”
Ben Ward from Orange Goblin commented, “We wanted to do something really special for our fans in the UK to celebrate the release of The Wolf Bites Back. We feel that this tour with the legendary Corrosion of Conformity, the awesome Fireball Ministry and our very good friends in Black Moth, is going to go down in history and we are proud to be a part of it. This tour will be the heaviest, dirtiest and loudest tour of 2018 and we can‘t wait to hit the road!”

Corrosion Of Conformity will be touring in honour of latest studio album No Cross No Crown, which was released in January 2018 to rapturous praise from fans and peers alike. Iconic guitarist and vocalist Pepper Keenan has returned to the fold, with No Cross No Crown arriving as C.O.C.’s first studio album to feature Keenan since 2005’s In the Arms of God.
No Cross No Crown somehow sounds as though no time has passed between 2005’s In The Arms Of God and today. Recording in North Carolina with longtime producer John Custer, C.O.C. cut No Cross No Crown in about forty days over the course of a year. Some of the new jams sound like they could’ve easily appeared on Wiseblood or Deliverance, two of C.O.C.’s most revered records. Beefy Southern stompers like ‘The Luddite’, ‘Little Man’ and ‘Forgive Me’ are interspersed with melancholy guitar interludes like ‘No Cross’, ‘Matre’s Diem’ and ‘Sacred Isolation’ – just like Sabbath used to do in the ’70s.
The arrival of Orange Goblin’s ninth studio album, The Wolf Bites Back, is a very big deal. After a four-year wait, fans are about to feel the full power of a band at the peak of their powers and with the wind in their sails.
“This is the sound of a band that have been together for over 20 years. It‘s the sound of a band that don‘t give a fuck about modern day trends and what the ’cool‘ kids are listening to. It‘s the sound of Orange Goblin digging really deep into our well of inspiration.”
Orange Goblin’s upcoming tour dates read as follows:
Sat 16 Jun – Stone Free Festival, o2, London, UK
Sat 23 Jun – Hellfest, Clisson, FR
Sat 28 Jul – Rock Im Wald Festival, Michelau, DE
Sat 04 Aug – Lake On Fire Festival, Waldhausen, AT

Widely admired as one of the most ludicrously thunderous and entertaining live bands on the planet, Orange Goblin have paid their dues and earned the right to be regarded as a heavy metal institution. The band‘s last two albums, A Eulogy For The Damned (2012) and Back From The Abyss (2014) have further cemented their reputation and taken their popularity to new heights, aided by high profile festival slots all over the world. Since the release of Back From The Abyss, the band‘s feet have barely touched the ground: a full European tour with doom legends Saint Vitus, a full US trek with Down, headline shows across Europe and triumphant appearances at Download, Bloodstock, Ozzfest, Wacken Open Air and many more. Nominated for ’Best British Band‘ at last year‘s Metal Hammer Golden Gods ceremony, at which they also performed, Orange Goblin have never been more in demand.
The legendary British rock band holed up at Orgone Studios with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Grave Pleasures, Paradise Lost, Cathedral) to create their latest opus, titled The Wolf Bites Back. The resulting nine track album will be the band’s ninth studio release and will be released via Candlelight/Spinefarm Records worldwide in June.
