The origin story of this group is born from passion. Late in 2015 Emily Bates (Vocals) and Dan Fry (Guitar) started a studio project. They wanted something bigger so enlisted Bass player James Hardwick and Drummer Jade Ball. This was the point they realised that the sound was now so big, a studio couldn’t contain it and they needed to take Digital Criminals to the stage!

They instantly started making waves and getting known on the scene. They were even awarded ‘The Rock House -Best Music Video’ by Universal Pictures and Metropolis Studios.

2017 saw the band supporting names such as The Courtesans and Hed PE on their Welsh dates whilst really pushing themselves out there by playing on the ‘Women Of Rock’ tour across the UK.
2018 is set to be bigger yet with not only a host of shows, but also some well known festivals. Some of these include Quinphonic 6 Festival and Welshfest where we see them headline the second stage. They will also be performing at the notable Concert at The Kings where they will be sharing the stage with the likes of Billy Ocean, Paul Carrack & The Stranglers and many, many more.

“Unlike a lot of bands we self-produce all our own media, so we’ve spent endless hours not only writing, rehearsing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering, but also building a website, making videos and creating our merch. It’s been a long process but one we have really enjoyed.
After countless coffees, very little sleep, taking shifts and a lot of love…. We are thrilled, knackered and incredibly excited to bring this EP to life. It has been so much fun to create, and we hope you enjoy it and it makes you want to throw your hands up in the air and sing at the top of your voice “Hell F***ing YEAH!!!!” just as it does for us.” – Digital Criminals
