Popular Chicago metal band Speedfreak will play in the live final round of the Battle of the Garage Bands competition on Sunday, July 23at Wicker Park’s 1st Ward Events. thrashing it out for guest judges Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Chip Z’Nuff, and Johnny K, against Minneapolis’ Sin City Escape, making this a true Midwestern fight to the finish.

Presented by LiftMaster, the Oak Brook, IL-based leader in garage door openers, all Battle of the Garage Bands proceeds will benefit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides financial assistance to career musicians in need.
