Plaguebringer Launch Indiegogo Campaign For Forthcoming Album ‘Diabolos’

Calgary, Alberta’s melodic blackened death metal outfit, Plaguebringer, have launched a crowdfund campaign via Indiegogo to help finance their forthcoming debut album, ‘Diabolos.’ Plaguebringer’s 2 previous releases, 2014’s ‘Hallowed’ EP and 2017’s ‘Three Kings’ EP were both entirely self financed and the band has also done 2 tours across Canada in support of their creative endeavors. Moving forward with their most ambitious effort to date, Plaguebringer want to ensure that both the band and their fans get the highest quality final product with the biggest, darkest and most brutal sound possible. To get the level of production that an album like ‘Diabolos’ deserves, Plaguebringer have brought in Mick Kenney (Anaal Nathrakh, Carnifex, Bleeding Through) to handle production, mixing and mastering.

A pre-production album teaser of ‘Diabolos’ is available below:

Artwork for ‘Diabolos’ will be handled by Dwid Hellion (Integrity) and backers will have access to numerous perk packages and limited edition merchandise, including an Orange & Black gatefold vinyl edition with a very limited run of 250 copies. Plaguebringer had the following to say about the upcoming release:
“Planned for the end of 2018, we will release their debut full-length album ‘Diabolos,’ which is easily our most ambitious effort yet. This is the first album in which the band will have professional help with the mixing, mastering, and production processes to give our songs the most crushing sound yet. Hiring a pro definitely comes at a cost, and so the funding needed for this album is much higher than previous records, and we need your help! Mick Kenny (Anaal Nathrakh, Carnifex, Bleeding Through) will be producing the album, as we feel that Mick has the ability to deliver the production quality demanded by our fans. All funds will go to mixing, mastering, & production of the album. We hope you find a perk you like, and support this effort. We sincerely are thankful for you considering a contribution to our full length album.”

Plaguebringer is definitely a band for fans of The Black Dahlia Murder, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Abigail Williams and more. Those unfamiliar with the bands previous releases can check them out on all digital platforms including Spotify, Bandcamp, iTunes, etc.
