3Sixty Release Debut Album ‘#TRUESTORIES’

It was a chance meeting in a Worcestershire pub, that brought back together former songwriting partners and bandmates, vocalist Mark Grimmett and lead guitarist Nick Singleton. The pair, who hadn’t seen each other for years, soon started talking about their ideas for what their perfect band would be. Firstly great songs… it’s all about the songs, real lyrics about real life, true stories, with big hooks, nothing fake, just honest, heartfelt naturally organic songs, played with passion and energy, a modern take on what these days is called classic rock. Before long they were holed up in Mark’s studio, writing the songs that would make up the #truestories album, and lead to the band!

1- Long Time Coming
2- Mine All Mine
3- Stronger
4- Pick Up All The Pieces
5- Turn Up The Heat
6- Lonely
7- Moving On
8- Carolina-Jane
9- Been So Long
10- You Know My Name
11- Push Your Buttons
12- Just Around The Corner

Pulling the band together from a wish-list of former bandmates and favourite musicians, they were joined firstly by guitarist Russell Simon, known for his gritty low-slung punky rhythm guitar, and his brother Mark Simon, known by the band, only half jokingly as the loudest drummer in the world! Finally, completing the line up, they were joined by bassist Juey D. Hill, who’s solid 80’s rock and soul influenced playing, perfectly complemented the snaking rhythm guitars of Nick and Russell. Following 2 years of gigging, the band spent much of 2017 recording the #truestories album in between live shows. It was recorded by Dave Draper, and also by vocalist Mark in his own studio, and mixed by Simon Jewel. If one were to pick out one song that best exemplifies what the band is all about, it would surely be stronger. Sounding like a long lost classic rock epic that you somehow missed, and written about Mark’s young son’s (successful, thankfully) battle with leukaemia.
