The official lineup for 2018’s Revival Party is here, bringing 45 metal, rock, punk and ska bands to Maple Park, Illinois from September 6th to September 8th. Bands from all parts of the rock spectrum will make their voyage to Maple Park this year, fostering a music party to bridge gaps between successful touring bands and local beginners.
Boasting a Wisconsin metal giant Product of Hate on the lineup, The Revival Party also includes acoustic bonfire sets, movie nights, DJ sets, and metal yoga to transform attendees from strangers to friends.

This no-boundaries party is truly unlike any other. Each attendee of The Revival Party becomes a part of a close-knit family focused around building a different breed of weekend-long music experience. Offering re-entry and free food and beer for all, fans and bands are treated as equals, creating a special atmosphere the music scene has been longing for: one of inclusion. Whether it’s giving a bed and a shower to your favorite touring band or a coat to a homeless person, The Revival Party places importance on certain beliefs like honesty, equality, and positivity. Providing fair play and fair pay, the aim of the 3-day party is to help local, regional and national bands catapult into touring by providing them a platform for success while welcoming fans with open arms to this yearly family reunion. With yoga, free parking, camping, inflatable games and food provided by the in-house crew, it’s the best party you’ve never heard of!

The Revival is a living breathing tribute to Bob Gordon the founder of Mugwump. Bob and his wife celebrated Mugwump from 1969 until Bob’s passing in 2011. Since then, founders Ashley Ring and Frank ‘Rick’ Horvath host The Revival Party in his honor. Inspired by Bob, the founders of The Revival believe in strong self-reliance, which leads to a strong community, which leads to one hell of a party! Since 2010, The Revival family has grown to include people from all walks of life, religions, and races; all coming together for 3 days of live music, camping, food and good old-fashioned kegged beer.
