Fans of ‘Fm’ are in for a real treat with the release of ‘Indiscreet 30’, now as you may know it is the 30th anniversary of ‘Indiscreet’ a classic album and probably the album that started the rise to Fame for the Uk rockers. Although not wanting to tamper with the iconic album too much, Fm decided to, rather than rework the album but more to enhance its already great sound while not recreating the album just letting fans know how it would sound if it were recorded and released today with today’s technology available. The resulting album is a masterpiece a classic of the future with each track holding its own and from ‘That Girl’ to ‘Frozen Heart’ the enhancements are excellent with added depth and thicker sounds. ‘Indiscreet 30’ also features 7 bonus tracks including ‘Running On Empty’ which is a brand new track and is what you would expect from Fm with the swaying keys and smooth vocals from ‘Steve’ its a foot-tapper from the start with a highly infectious groove and chorus that will have you at full voice from the first moment you hear it, a great little solo is added to the mix which makes this new track a winner, there is also Fm’s version of Ozzy Ozbourne classic ‘Shot In The Dark’ which if you have never heard it is a whole new lease on the original with ‘Steve’s’ vox giving it a whole different sound, but strangely is rather addictive once you hear it. Fans of the original are certainly going to be hooked on this with the added power and depth enhancing what was already a killer album Also featured is an acoustic charged version of ‘That Girl’ which is mellow and enriched with the depth of the background vocals and soul searching piano track, with an added acoustic solo which completes the track
