Artist- Jace Pawlak
Album-Promise
Genre-Melodic Rock
Release Date-Out Now
Label-Kivel Records
Although Jace Pawlak may not be a name that some rock fans are too familiar with, the reason for this is that Pawlak has been so busy making every other artist sound good by writing songs and music on their behalf, with Goodbye Thrill, Tango Down, Farcry and the upcoming Romeo Riot just a few, now with that being said he also has 2 previous solo albums .

So now its time for Pawlak to step back out from behind the desk which he ‘Promises’ to do and make himself be known for not only an extremely talented songwriter, but also a very talented musician which on this latest release he showcases this by playing keyboards, bass and drums, adding his dad and little brother Trevor to the mix on extra guitar duties, as well as being main vocalist which it has to be said Pawlak can sure rock the mic with higher tone that is synonymous to a Rob Morattii.

‘Promise’ is produced by Pawlak and Ty Sims (House of Lords) which holds to the ‘Promise’ of delivering Melodic Rock Candy to your ears

With an impressive list of guest musicians, including Tommy Bell, Pete Lents, Shawn Pelata, Rob Volpe,  Dominic Gaudious and Eric Ragno, and artwork by the ever impressive Nello Dell’Omo.

‘Promise’ quite simply put has no fillers all tracks are indeed melodic killers from the upbeat tempo and bouncy happy go lucky feel of anthemic opener ‘Tonight Is Everything’ and ‘Too Late’ to the haunting piano driven soulful ballad ‘Nothing But Rain’ which includes a superb guitar solo. Journey’esque ‘Cant Find You Heart’ is a stadium ballad with mid tempo drive and a singalong chorus ‘Leap Of Faith’ a grand example of an eighties stadium ballad with big hooks and a great full on singalong chorus.

To summarise Pawlak made a ‘Promise’ and he duly delivered from the production to the delivery everything about Promise is top drawer 80’s melodic rock in its finest form.
