‘Sammy Hagar’s’ latest compilation ‘This is Sammy Hagar – When The Party Started’ has eventually got a release date for the Uk, having already been released in the US since late November the album will hit the streets of the Uk on the 10th of March and will include some of Sammy’s best tracks since departing from the mighty Van Halen.

Included on the album is two unreleased tracks as well as some of Sammys ‘handpicked and special favourites from a time that was special’ in his music career, noticed only by there absence are fan favourites from this era such as ‘Marching To Mars’ ‘Let Sally Drive’ ‘Things’ve Changed’ ‘Mas Tequila’ but this does not have a serious effect on the finished album after all they are all favourites of Sammy’s personal choosing.

Now fans of The Red Rocker will already be familiar with 12 tracks that is on offer from belting rockers ‘Stand Up’ ‘Serious Ju Ju’ to the party hard and celebration infused ‘Ten 13’ to the Softer ballad side of ‘Little Bit More’ to the blues infused rocker ‘The Real Deal’ featuring some mesmerising blues guitar, to the party holiday time ‘Tropic Of Capricorn’ there is even room for the Ganja infused music interlude ‘Maui Wowie’

As mentioned there are two brand new unreleased tracks ‘No Worries’ and ‘Never Said Goodbye’ that make up this 14 track disc, the former being an acoustic driven singalong anthem which is a direct story of Sammy and how he sees life and indeed how he lives it with ‘No Worries’ ‘Never Said Goodbye’ is another acoustic track that tells the story of losing loved ones and never having the chance to say goodbye, something we all have experienced in life, and its told in Sammy’s own way with his rich and raw tone that brings a tear to the eye.

Red Rockers are certainly going to love this compilation and it will be a great addition to any Red Rockers or Rockettes collection, now the icing on the cake would be a long overdue Uk Tour for all of us Red Rockers on this side of the pond.
